It was a dull day, so I thought that black and white suited - and I've just discovered how easy it is to make shadow borders with Elements :-)

Tom Wilson: Ah! So that is how they are thought of locally. I had seen them as a kind of "box bay" window

They seemed to be a feature here in other parts of Galicia, that I hadn't seen in, e.g., Murcia.
