Nearly abstract, Tom...I like it.
Tom Wilson: It was the natural tree and the abstract background that caught my eye, Ray - the building is the students' residence across the road from the university in Boras.
It looks like a sketch!
Tom Wilson: Does, rather, doesn't it? I used CameraBag's 'newspaper' style B&W

Agree with Elizabeth looks like a drawing not a picture Tom different.
Tom Wilson: It caught my eye as I was walking up the stairs - this is through one of the stairway windows.
I like this Tom, the randomness of the tree,contrasts nicely with the uniformity of the building, and a good treatment too, it does look like a drawing.smile
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Frank - it struck me how graphic it was when I first saw it.
It's just struck me tom, (someone should! ) All this technology we have, to produce something that looks like we drew it with a pencil! Like a guy I met, who had an electric door bell that sounded like someone knocking on his door!? smile
Tom Wilson: Yeah, crazy, isn't it - still, it helps those of us who can't draw for toffee!

interesting contrast between the organic shape of the tree and the geometric patterns behind it - and the BW treatment makes it standout even more
Tom Wilson: That's what attracted my eye, Paul It was almost entirely a B&W scene to begin with! Almost no transformation necessary.
