Baiona - the town from the fortress

You can see that the old town, running along the harbour front, was very small - anything more than two storeys high is 'modern'.

It looks a grand place and well presented Tom/
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Chad.
How would you be able to find your house? They are all the same!
Tom Wilson: Not when you get down to ground level, Mary smile
Not too sure about the buildings up the hill but by the harbour looks delightful
Tom Wilson: Yes - that's a bit of an unfortunate development, but the old town is very attractive.
And then the speculators came in and spoiled it all. Actually it looks quite a nice place Tom.
Tom Wilson: Fortunately, they haven't been able to damage the old town.
Now this is a great pan view Tom. I myself regret some of the housing developments done on the hills, but can understand the complexity of the problems involved!
Tom Wilson: Yes, indeed - population has grown since 1493 and people have to live somewhere!
A nice view... especially with the red roof tops.
Tom Wilson: Pretty common in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece - you see these tiled roofs everywhere.

You can certainly tell the difference between the ancient and modern. The waterfront looks a delight.
Tom Wilson: Yes -you're right - the houses are very lovely - but with commercialised ground floors smile

Are there rules about the colours of walls and roofs, Tom?
