Elle a l'air d'être très longue.
Tom Wilson: Yes, it's quite a long avenue.

I think pedestrians might prefer the verandah shade, Tom.
Tom Wilson: Very sunny but not too hot on the day, Ray - but you're right!

The whole street seems to have been pedestrianised, Tom. I wonder how the shops get their deliveries
Tom Wilson: Part of it is still available for cars, to get to the underground carpark.
I like the lines and shape of the walkway, Tom. It makes it more interesting than a straight line.
Tom Wilson: It does, doesn't it? It's a pity I couldn't get higher to get a better view!
I thought at first that someone was walking on the plants Tom. Then I saw the path.
Tom Wilson: I don't think they'd walk on the plants! A lot of civic pride in Portugal!

It looks both clean & civilised
Tom Wilson: Indeed it is, Chris - and it usually is in Portugal, but, because of the financial situation I'd expected things to be run down and to my surprise I found that they seem to be doing better than we are! Of course, a left-wing government which has abandoned austerity might be the reason - they're investing a lot in infrastructure.
It looks as dry there as here. I do like these areas with no vehicles allowed.
Tom Wilson: They'd had a pretty wet spring, but the sun had finally arrived.

Must be spectacular when the flowers in these beds are in full bloom.
Tom Wilson: Yes, pretty stunning - the centre of Braga is a very pleasant place.
Now here's a spot I'd like to visit. Nice!!
Tom Wilson: I can recommend Portugal, Rob - I've been going there for years, mainly to work - stay tuned and you'll see more of the country.
a rather bright day, Tom. i like this charming place
Tom Wilson: I think you'd find Portugal a very attractive place altogether, Ayush.
A very fine shopping centre.
Tom Wilson: Yes, still with family owned shops, instead of chains!
Rather an attractive street Tom.
Tom Wilson: Braga is a very pleasant city, Bill.
