Incomplete walkway

Figueira da Foz, Portugal, where the tide goes way out and doesn't come far in, so the beach is being developed as a sports and conservaton area, this is a walkway out to the sea's edge, in progress.

Nice perspective.
I feel like wandering down there right now...
Tom Wilson: It's quite a hike to the sea!

Jolie perspective sur cette plage. Ce sera très beau lorsque le chemin sera fini.
Tom Wilson: Merci, Martine!
A very nice composition - Was this more of a wild area before they hatched this idea? Or does it fill up with sunbathers?
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Elizabeth - it was just a beach - becoming overgrown with grass and weeds - nearer the sea if fills up with swimmers and sunbathers in the season.

An opportunity to practice your balance beam moves, Tom.
Tom Wilson: I managed perfectly - a perfect 10! smile
Definitely a work in progress, Tom. Smart move on their part, with all that sand!
Tom Wilson: You'll see more of it tomorrow.

Good idea - the sea cannot be seen
Tom Wilson: A bit like Morecombe Bay smile
Not wood enough to reach the end Tom! Superb perspective.
Tom Wilson: Clearly the Clerk of Works needs seeing to smile
A good idea that will give access to all Tom
Tom Wilson: It will indeed!
Boardwalks are wonderful things.
Tom Wilson: Their plans for the entire beach are quite impressive.
incomplete perhaps, but i like the exposure here, Tom. very pleasing.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Ayush.
It looks as though it will be wide enough for vehicles.
Tom Wilson: I don't think vehicles will be allowed, although there is, I think, a little train railtrack laid down

A great picture, especially the interesting vanishing point. Or the other way round, it is a desert railway being covered up.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Louis - it provided lots of photo opportunities!
Good catch. I like incompletion...
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Larry - more tomorrow!

The sea edge with the tide out? Or In? Looks like they will need a heck of a lot of decking.
Tom Wilson: I think the tide was out - but I think it rarely comes this far in ! As for decking - I think they've got the money for it - part of the new government's anti-austerity strategy, which has Portugal looking better than it has for years. Indeed looking more prosperous than the UK!
