Gulbenkian-screen

This screen deserves careful examination!  The curious colour cast is from the lighting. Update: Chinese, probably 17th century, known as the Coromandel Screen. There's a video about it - in Portuguese with English sub-titles.

It looks as if it is Oriental Tom. No doubt it tells a story from history or legend

It looks wonderful. I am guessing it tells a story?
Tom Wilson: See the video: https://youtu.be/pTmOtpcqX5s - in Portuguese but with English sub-titles.
This must be a fine thing to see in real life.

The video is amazing. A lot is shown about life in China. What a remarkable piece of art.
Like a giant city map...
An amazing thing!
