Vintage Cars No 3

And the last of this short series.  Again, I have no idea what this is, but I suspect, from the design, that it is an American car.  There were one or two others from the US on display and what I think was a Rolls Royce Silver Cloud drop-head coupe. However, having taken my time over breakfast, I didn't get a chance to check :-)

This lovely-looking veteran does not look American to me, Tom...I would be voting Italian, even though I don't have a clue.
Tom Wilson: It seems to have a name on the side of the bonnet, and on the wheel hubs, but I canät figure out what they say. You might well be right!
I'm beat on this one, Tom, lovely car though.
Tom Wilson: Obviously a treasured relic!
It's a great looking thing, whatever it is!
Tom Wilson: Ideal for your western touring smile

Whatever it is, it's very well cared for Tom. Bet those are leather covered seats..
Tom Wilson: I'm sure you are right on that, Chris.
This car looks like it has been cobbled together from old furniture Tom.
Tom Wilson: Now you are being unkind, Chad - and just because i haven't given you a close up of the exhaust system! smile

Breakfast is so important so you did well to take full advantage. It makes me think of the Morris Travellers with the wooden struts on it. This is much bigger, of course.
Tom Wilson: It doe have that Traveller look, doesn't it - but I guess these travellers were rather richer than the average Traveller owner!
What a motor, it is in fine condition.
Tom Wilson: All of them beautifully kept.
The wooden paneling is really something.
Tom Wilson: One for the rich farmer, presumably smile
It looks very American, but it's a fine looking car.
Tom Wilson: Yes, I thought so too, Brian.
jolie voiture! amitiés
Tom Wilson: Merci, Jean.

Grand old car. It reminds me a bit of the old Chev Fleetline - but the general shape was followed by more manufacturers at the time.
