Wonderful night view, Tom.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Ray.
Looks like the evening star about the lit towers...
Tom Wilson: I think it is, Larry - Venus perhaps, or Jupiter - both of which shine pretty brightly.
This displays the city in a beautiful way Tom, great finale.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Chad.
Beautiful night shot, Tom!!! Love the glow!
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Elizabeth.

Magnifique photo de nuit, j'aime beaucoup.
Tom Wilson: Merci, Martine. J'espère que vous pourrez bientôt prendre des photos! Bonne santé!
Salamanca is a magnificent city which I was lucky enough to visit there is a very long time. Very beautiful night photo
Tom Wilson: You probably saw it at its best - the influx of students from the USA and the rest of Europe has rather changed its character, I suspect.
A fine picture to finish Tom
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Bill.

Oh, I thought the floodlit building were the cathedral. Salamanca has a famous university as I recall.
Tom Wilson: Perhaps the cost is too high for the bishop smile Yes, Salamanca is one of the oldest in Europe - 12th century. If you are interested in such things I can recommend Blaise Cronin's 'Cathedrals of learning: great and ancient universities of Western Europe' published by Elsevier/Chandos - a kind of academic travelogue.
