Isn't spring wonderful! In Bath now the daffs have all but disappeared..

a familiar picture - the daffs are disappearing here, too.
Tom Wilson: It's a lovely time of year for the gardens.
How lovely. My daffs are two inches above the ground in the warm garden.
Tom Wilson: They're now disappearing here!
The botanical gardens in Sheffield look, from all your pictures, as though they are very well looked after.
Tom Wilson: They are, Brian - mainly due to the Friends of the Botanical Gardens. The Council was letting them fall into disrepair and the Friends managed to get a lottery grant of several million to restore them. I think that even the Curator's job is now combined with something else and most of the work is done by volunteers. You'll have to come and take a look - although they are now getting past the best of spring.
Very pleasant, Tom.
Tom Wilson: It's a lovely spot and only five mins walk from the house.
A happy patch of sunshine!
Here it comes again...!
