The garden is waking up!
Tom Wilson: Oh, they are wide awake now, Ray.
Isn't that lovely! Great reflections, too!
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Elizabeth

Good to see the Marsh Marigolds out
Tom Wilson: By the end of the season the growth is rampant and there's a lot of work to clear it all out smile

Very nice Tom, spring contains just so much promise of good things to come..
Tom Wilson: Let's hope so, Chris!
This is lovely Tom, a nice place to wander and sit I should think.
Tom Wilson: Indeed it is, Chad - the Gardens are one of Sheffield's lungs - however:

"Sheffield is the most wooded city in Britain with in excess of 175 woods, and many other stands of trees. (It is estimated that there are over 2 million trees in total within the City, including those in parks, gardens and adjacent to the highways - source: Sheffield MDC website). The presence of so many trees makes Sheffield a healthier, greener, cleaner and more attractive place than many industrial cities with similar histories."

Looks an attractive place to pass a few hours.
Tom Wilson: It's my regular walking area smile
We call these Marsh Marigolds and I have a most wonderful vase for them.
Tom Wilson: It's the same name, here, Mary smile
J'adore!
Tom Wilson: Merci beaucoup, Marie!

They look interesting Tom, one of these days when I am visiting my mum I think I should try and go to see them.
Tom Wilson: Give me a call and I'll give you a guided tour smile Does your mum live in Sheffield?

Tom Wilson: Thanks, Peter - I see the connection.
That's rather nice Tom.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Brian.

Tom Wilson: It'll be very overgrown by the end of the season.
