Chatsworth House

Another view, without the fountain. Also without a barrier rope that stretched right across the picture, which I managed to remove (in processing, not in reality!).

Very grand Tom, the statues look quite mad
Tom Wilson: Probably mad at being left outside smile
Très jolie composition !
Tom Wilson: Merci, Martine.
That chap looks like he has a stone in his hand which he is going to throw at the next statue when it's not looking.
Tom Wilson: He, he - who knows what goes on, when the sun goes down smile
belle compo avec une jolie perspective!! amitiés
Tom Wilson: Merci bien, Jean Pierre.
Very nice after the hail storm...smile
Tom Wilson: He, he! As you know, Mary - daisies smile
I knew where this was from the thumbnail, I seem to recall leaning over the rope when I took a similar shot a few years ago.
Tom Wilson: I imagine it's an ever popular spot for photographers, Brian.
Don't you just love Photoshop?
Tom Wilson: Lightroom and Elements in this case Bill - but, yes, some of the same tools are amazing!

Tracy took us two times to Chatsworth House. I love this point of view. What wonderful statues.
Tom Wilson: It's a beautiful location and only about half an hour away from Sheffield.

A classical image of this impressive House. I thought that Hercules had helped you to remove the barrier rope.
Tom Wilson: Well, perhaps he was watching over me smile
