Jolie traitement, on dirait une carte postale ancienne.
Tom Wilson: Merci, Martine!

Amazing so much of it still survives but presumably it's heavily conserved these days
Tom Wilson: Yes, it's cared for by National Heritage these days - and it is not swamped by visitors because the only way to reach the ruins is by foot from Seahouses.

I googled this place and what a location for a castle!
I so love your treatment of this fabulous picture.
Tom Wilson: Fantastic location - like the much better preserved (and still lived in) Bamburgh Castle a little to the north. Thanks, Astrid.
Magnifique photo , Bravo !
Tom Wilson: Merci, Claudine.

This looks like an old post card, Tom
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Lisl - that was my aim smile
It will be nice when its finished Tom...I was telling Elizabeth we should visit this part of the East coast.
Tom Wilson: It's certainly got quite a lot to offer - and the B&B we stayed at in Seahouses was fine - let me know if you want details.
Excellnt presentation for something from another time.;
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Mary
I like the ageless appeal of this presentation
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Ruthie - a bit of antiquing always comes in useful when the weather is dull smile
Very good presentation style Tom.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Brian
jolie photo style ancien!! amitiés
Tom Wilson: Merci beaucoup, Jean Pierre
Looks very 19th century...
Tom Wilson: So I've achieved my aim smile
An impressive ruin that gets overlooked with Bamburgh being not far away and much more accessible
Tom Wilson: True enough, Bill - and, of course, this is just a ruin, whereas Bamburgh is still lived in.
