It is gorgeous!
Tom Wilson: A fine building - and one that remained a church in Soviet times, unlike others in the city, some of which became warehouses.

This is glorious Tom, did you get to go inside?
Tom Wilson: Yes, I have pics coming up.

From my perspective Tom, it looks like an opera house.
Tom Wilson: It's certainly rather flamboyant!
Now that is what I call a beautiful church.
Tom Wilson: It is indeed, Brian - and also inside.
What an age and looking so good.
Tom Wilson: It is very well preserved and was obviously cared for in Soviet times.
That is a rather handsome building Tom
Tom Wilson: It certainly is, Bill.
A beautiful building--I like the word "peace" on it in Latin...
Tom Wilson: As Wikipedia notes: "Latin inscription reads REGINA PACIS FUNDA NOS IN PACE (Queen of Peace, protect us in peace) and reflects the intentions of the founder Pac and is a word play on his last name."
A fine old church building to share.
Tom Wilson: It is rather special!
