La forme du clocher est étrange.
Tom Wilson: It is rather unusual, isn't it?

That is a seriously tall spire, Tom!

Double rates should apply for cleaning the outside of those top windows...
Tom Wilson: I suspect they don't have glass, but are open to allow the peal of the bells smile
> I like how the clouds look painted on.
Tom Wilson: Entirely au naturel smile
smile And it's really lovely this way!
Tom Wilson: A fine building.

This is certainly a better view Tom
Tom Wilson: I think this, too, was taken from the roof of the Photography Museum

Strange design to my eyes Tom. The body of the church seems rather barn-like.
Tom Wilson: Unusual to English eyes, certainly.
and none the worse for being turned upside down Tom
Tom Wilson: Happily, it seems to have survived, Bill.
Belongs in the town Philine was recently showing with the tall buildings.
Tom Wilson: It's certainly pointing a finger towards heaven smile

Certainly a very different sort of architecture from an English Cathedral, but still rather attractive
Tom Wilson: Very different, isn't it?
You seem to have spent a lot of time finding lots of beautiful churches to show us, this one is lovely.
Tom Wilson: They are all around in Lithuania, Brian - no need to go looking for them, especially in Vilnius. My friend there tells me that when she lived in the old town as a child, she could see 12 churches from her bedroom window!
you framed it perfectly Tom i like your point of view....petersmile
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Peter.
It looks better from that angle...
Tom Wilson: Less vertiginous!
