Borås - street artist at work

The city of Borås in Sweden has a biennial street art festival called No Limit - I've shown pictures of previous festival products.  Here is one of the artists (known as Lonac) at work on one of this year's murals.  See the finished work tomorrow.

They are very good at the Art, Tom.
Tom Wilson: These artists do an amazing job.
i can already see that the piece is going to be excellent, Tom.
Tom Wilson: Some of this year's murals were quite stunning, Ayush
Quite a rig, complete with weather protection...
Tom Wilson: It was needed, Larry - a pretty rainy day! Later in the series, you'll see him again, without the weather protection.
I love photos of these artists at work! Such scale!!
Tom Wilson: This one is gigantic, as you'll see tomorrow!
Pas facile de faire une peinture géante comme celle-ci.
Tom Wilson: Très difficile, je pense, Martine

This is the first time I have ever seen work in progress, Tom
Tom Wilson: I have another of the same artist coming up, Lisl and a second of a different artist, using a completely different medium

This is all very clever stuff Tom
Tom Wilson: It is indeed - interesting to watch them work, swinging back to take a look at the whole and then swinging back in to do the detail work - quite amazing.
Unbelievable. What a joy to see him in action.
Tom Wilson: Another one coming up in the series, Ginnie.

I like pictures of people at work. Especially when it is not everyday type of work, like this one. It does give one a glimpse of how it is done.
Tom Wilson: Yes, it was great to watch him working.

what a great 'man at work'. These artists are so clever and do a great job...
Were you able to come back and see it finished??
Tom Wilson: You'll see the finished work tomorrow, and another of him at work on a fine day, later in the series.

Not the easiest way to produce art Tom.
Tom Wilson: Very different from a canvas on an easel! It was fascinating to watch him work, seeing how often he swung back from the wall to get a view of the whole, or down to ground level to view it from there before going back to add detail.
No doubt interesting to see it being done Tom.
Tom Wilson: Very much so, Brian
It is amazing how some people can visualise the complete work when working so close to it.
Tom Wilson: Mind-boggling, Bill!
I've watched people doing this here, when we had an annual street art festival, now sadly ended...I like how the umbrellas match the artwork.
Tom Wilson: I think this is the third festival in Borås - they now have more than thirty art works around the city.
There is a skilled fellow!
