It looks very nice, Tom.

Some artist let his enthusiasm for the fruity salads get the better of him, Tom.
Tom Wilson: Certainly let his/her imagination run away!
This looks strangely familiar to me, Tom. I think there was one in my family eons ago. smile
Tom Wilson: I imagine that there was a fashion for them at some time.

It looks charming Tom
Tom Wilson: I don't think I've ever actually used it to serve fruit salad!
Magnifique cuillère mais je pense qu'elle n'est pas très pratique à  utiliser.
Tom Wilson: Oui, cela est vrai, Martine, mais je pense qu'il a été utilisé soit par ma mère ou l'une de ses sœurs smile

I think perhaps this is in your sideboard, Tom?
Tom Wilson: Yes, it is - originally it belonged to either my mother or one of her sisters.

A fine object Tom. It looks a tad tarnished.
Tom Wilson: Just a tad - but it is just EPNS, so worn rathe than tarnished I think.

I wonder if this spoon should be used - a delightful object!
Tom Wilson: It doesn't get used now, but it must have been used by my mother or one of my aunts.

Antique Epsn. Sheffield, England ?
Tom Wilson: Yes, it is EPSN, but there is no maker's name and no indication of Sheffield - however, given its age, it is likely to have been made in Sheffield.
From Sheffield, no doubt.
Tom Wilson: Highly probable smile

Must be old. The fruit salad has already solidified in the spoon ...

Makes a good picture.
Tom Wilson: He, he smile thanks Louis
Made in Sheffield?
Tom Wilson: Probably, Bill - although it doesn't say so.

Well at least you know where it is for when there are 5 spoons near the plate....
Love the design, Tom.
Tom Wilson: smile Thanks, Astrid.
Rather a nice design etched into it.
Tom Wilson: Yes - and quite appropriate smile
I had never seen anything like it, a piece of antiques, I guess it also has some value
Tom Wilson: No very great value, Claudio - one sees them on Ebay - a pair for €15 or less.
