Crete-Jacaranda

I was at a conference in Crete in late May and managed to get around quite a lot - aided by a couple of tours organized for the conference.  So, we'll probably have several weeks of pictures from the island :-)

this has a lacy feel to it as if the limbs are very frail although i realize it's a strong tree

the tones are just delicious
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Sherri - couldn't access your site yesterday - will try again today.
That is so beautiful, Tom!
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Elizabeth

Very pleasing Tom. This tree looks rather delicate, or at least the image does.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Chad - I think Wisteria does have delicate branches.

Very Asian feel to this...so delicate.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Bonnie - yes, rather Japanese, isn't it?
Wisteria is such a loevly plant. I look forward to your Crete pictures, I enjoy you showing us where you go, they are places I know I will never visit.
Tom Wilson: There are lots of places shown on SC that I'll never visit, too, Brian - and I take equal pleasure in seeing them.

This is a wonderful plant - I saw some sorts of Wisteria in Sissinghurst. Nice to ses some autumn leaves, too.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Philine - yes, it makes a beautiful show, and the number of different flowering trees and shrubs in the Mediterranean is amazing.
Well if this is a sample that is fine with me Tom
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Bill - however, I don't think they'll all be as good as this smile
Very pretty beginning. This is beautiful.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Mary
