Jolie poterie bien conservée.
Tom Wilson: Yes, very well preserved.

incredible history

a stunning piece
Tom Wilson: The fact that it and many more survive from more than 3,000 years ago, is amazing.

This is certainly a lovely object Tom but the narrow base makes it look liable to easily topple
Tom Wilson: Yes, this seems to have been a feature of the pots in general - makes one wonder how they kept them upright!
I often wonder how old pots like thse didn't fall over with such a small base.
Tom Wilson: Yes, it certainly doesn't look very practical, does it? Perhaps, when they were use, they were put in some kind of stand to support them.
LOve the close details and textures.
Tom Wilson: Very appealing, isn't it?
Wonderful artifact!
That is nice! Not that stable with it's small bottom but really nice!
