a beautiful display

i did notice one thing though, that near the bottom on the right side, the items are hanging in the shape of a smiley face - eyes, nose, smile
Tom Wilson: Well spotted, Sherri! smile
I love this stuff!
Tom Wilson: Just as well it is not for sale!
I do hope Elizabeth doesn't see this display.....Oh, too late!
Tom Wilson: No problem Frank - it's not for sale. smile

In this aspect little has changed with the passing of time Tom
Tom Wilson: I think there's little change in most aspects of artistic design, Chris - it seems to be a human constant.

This stuff must have looked gorgeous when worn
Tom Wilson: Absolutely - it appears that the ladies of Knossos dressed topless, so showing off the finery would have been a key decorative element.

That is why so many greeks went topless. No use wearing such big jewellery if it can't be on show.
Tom Wilson: Exactly.

An expensive jewellery shop.
Tom Wilson: It would be, if it was for sale!
One wonder kust how they used to make all this sort of stuff.
Tom Wilson: Skilled craftsmen, clearly!

there is a certain amount of symmetry here, Tom.
Tom Wilson: A good deal of it, Ayush!
They are beautiful tom
Tom Wilson: Fine work.
Most impressive...
Tom Wilson: Fine work!
I lie this as antique beads are a love of mine.
