Cliffe Castle Museum - Stained glass

The museum has an important collection of stained glass from the Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co. factory. The "Morris" was William Morris of arts and crafts movement fame.  This series of windows portrays the legend of Tristram and Isolde.

Tom Wilson: Well, I did sit through the whole of the Ring on TV and enjoyed it, but I can't say I'm a big fan.
A very fine collection.
Tom Wilson: It is indeed.
I love how these panels are placed! Well done too.
Tom Wilson: Worth the visit, certainly.
No mistaking the William Morris look, Tom. A fine set of stained glass to appreciate.
Tom Wilson: Amazing that it was done for a private house!
