photoblog image Water feature in B&W

Water feature in B&W

From some years ago - Botanical Gardens, Singapore.

I thought I'd try a few days of black and white, just for a change :-)

Very attractive gardens...whatever colour you present them in, Tom.
Tom Wilson: They are, Ray - a very pleasant walk.
Oooh - beautiful! Works very well in B&W!

I can almost feel the dampness here Tom.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Chad.
Always good to go black and white for a while...
Tom Wilson: Yes, one can get tired of all that colour smile
and why not? especially if this is an example of the quality to come
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Bill - I suspect that this is the best of the bunch smile
Thisis a superb B.& W. Tom, it is so much easier than in the old days of the darkroom isn't it. Maureen uses my old developing dishes as seed trays these days.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Brian - it certainly is! Although I was never rich enough as a young lad to be able to afford my own developing.
I immediately felt this was not England. Excellent shot.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Mary - yes, it has a tropical feel, even in black and white.
a beautiful waterfall and a great b&w Tom....petersmile

sorry for calling you Mary... stuff happens like that now and then....
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Peter - no worries, I know who you mean!

The water stream looks like hanging hair. I like this b&w image!
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Philine.
