C'est très beau, j'aime les formes.

A feature the city can be justly proud of Tom
Tom Wilson: The City didn't take much pride in the Gardens in the 80s and 90s - it was the Friends of the Gardens that got the lottery money and even now it's mainly volunteers who maintain the gardens.

A wonderful place, and you are showing it off very well, Tom.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Ray.
Such a handsome structure Tom
Tom Wilson: Back to the original design smile

Crikey, it really is magnificent Tom.
Tom Wilson: Closed at present, but it looks as though the plants inside are doing well smile

Lovely pavilions

It these days of a large proportion of British people being unhealthy and obese, l am surprised that this Tory government has not removed all benches so that we have to stay on our feet and get more exercise than sitting on our bums.
Mind you, knowing the most garden visitors tend to be educated and middle class they are likely to be slimmer and healthier and thus deserve good seating in nice environments
Good Tory ideology Ha
Tom Wilson: Sounds like a smart idea, Richard - however, I don't see overweight people in the Gardens, at any time - I suspect that the obese are predominantly couch potatoes. smile
I hope you got to go inside too. Absolutely beautiful!
Tom Wilson: I've been inside often - some quite tropical plants in some of the places. However, it is closed until the virus disappears :-(
Very pleasing to the eye, Tom.
Tom Wilson: Indeed it is, Ginnie - when I first came to Sheffield one of the pavilions was an aviary, another had an aquarium and there were no glasshouses joining the pavilions!
It really is a magnificent building, I like the way you've used the trees to frame it.
Tom Wilson: Yes, deserves its II* listing!
