Nova Scotia fishing village

From Montreal, I flew to Halifax, Nova Scotia, visiting Dalhousie University.  I've got more pictures of the trip, but, unfortunately, I haven't indicated where they were taken, so at times I have to guess.  This one was pretty obvious, however.

Lovely...almost like a painting, Tom.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Ray - guess that's the old film effect.
Full of interest Tom.
Tom Wilson: I think it is, as Care suggests, Peggy's Cove - a well-known tourist spot, although a fully working fishing village.

Looks a quiet sort of place Tom, could even be Scotland..
Tom Wilson: Similar geology I imagine, Chris.
That must have been an interesting place to visit.
Tom Wilson: The whole trip was quite special - unfortunately it was a working visit, so it was only the occasional trip out, like this, one that gave me time to take pics.
Perhaps, Peggy’s Cove.
Tom Wilson: The name rings a bell, Care - and I have another picture which tallies with a view of the place on Google maps!
