Wonderful!

A tree might seem out of place here, Tom.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Ray - not much room for trees on the streets of Japan smile
View from another time...
Tom Wilson: Seems like it, doesn't it - and yet it was only 2005 smile
Very cool isn't it!! When was this taken?
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Elizabeth - this was taken on a trip in 2005
what a wonderful composition Tom... your treatment of the image is superb....petersmile
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Peter.
Absolutely wonderful Tom! Well done indeed.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Richard.

This could be vintage if it wasn't for the white shirted man
Tom Wilson: Yes - he rather gives the game away smile
Very much like a time gone by, Tom.
Tom Wilson: I think this street in Nara is now protected - one of the house was open as a museum.

The gutteridge is very interesting. A fine vintage look! You are a real globetrotter- jumping from one part of the world to the other!
Tom Wilson: I'm sure that Chad will appreciate it smile

You took this picture when you were young? smile Excellent.

PS. I think mr gutteridge would go on a high when he sees this one.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Louis - it was 2005, actually, when I was younger than I am now smile
Excellent detail.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Mary.
great processing with the sepia and border
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Chantal.

It looks a very clean place Tom, but I do not know Japan.
Tom Wilson: Japan is amazingly clean, Chad - makes England look like a refuse tip (as I was thinking this morning as I walked for the paper through crisp packets, building debris on the road, etc.). Even the garbage trucks were polished and the taxi drivers were continually cleaning their cars when they weren't busy. The garbage men in their uniforms looked as they they could safely prepare your food!
Some very good pipeage there for our good friend Chad.
Tom Wilson: I'm sure he'll appreciate it, Brian - although he refrained from commenting smile
the upright proportions here look exceedingly good, Tom
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Ayush.
