Reservoir outlet

At Catcleugh (pron. "Catcluff") Northumberland.  I think this is the outlet from the reservoir, enabling the River Rede to conitinue its journey to join the North Tyne River.  We knew how to build stuff once upon a time :-)

This is really a great shot - and what a lovely outlet! Yes - you did know how to build stuff - I'm not so sure you don't anymore, just have to look a little harder perhaps!

Indeed we did Tom, everything was solid & durable..
We did indeed Tom
It looks mighty and powerful Tom.
Art and style was as important in building as was the material. So sad that it has changed so much.
nice framing
Quite artistic in design for its purpose.
Very impressive, Tom.
