I'll keep that advice in mind, Tom! smile
Tom Wilson: You never know, Ray - you might just find yourself in Rathmullan one of these days smile
Certainly a gorgeous garden!
Tom Wilson: And this was only a small part of the grounds - there is also a walled kitchen garden which provides produce for the hotel kitchen.

Lupins 'n' lillies - very nice too Tom
Tom Wilson: And don't forget the foxgloves smile The lupins were certainly a glorious red.
You know how to find them, Tom, so I trust you. The garden is surely their pride and joy, by the looks of it.
Tom Wilson: The man who bought the house to turn it into an hotel is the gardener - his son now runs the hotel. He obviously takes great pride in the gardens and was able to tell us where the lupin seeds came from smile
These Lupins are gorgeous Tom!
Tom Wilson: Apparently they came from a firm called Kings Seeds - https://www.kingsseeds.com/

They certainly have a lovely garden, Tom
Tom Wilson: Plus a walled kitchen garden - and lots of lawns and trees - and about 100 metres to the beach smile
Lots of great flowers here. I love the bright red lupins.
Tom Wilson: The lupins are brilliant, aren't they?!
Beautiful area of flowerbed.
Tom Wilson: It is, isn't it?
A fine summery sight it is Tom
Tom Wilson: Indeed!
beautiful shot...
Tom Wilson: A beautiful place to shoot! smile
It looks very nice, Tom, probably better than the wooden shack we stayed in this weekend...Though the deer outside the window were nice. smile
Tom Wilson: You certainly had the advantage with the deer - I could only claim a rabbit smile
If the hotel is as delightful as this garden then I am sure it is Tom
Tom Wilson: It was excellent, Bill - and the food better than some Michelin-starred places I've been in smile
