This is become a worldwide obsession Tom
Tom Wilson: It is indeed - a positive plague!
People seem to be more on their own these days Tom (not that I have carried out a scientific survey). They seem even more comfortable on their own with ipads, miniature portable telephones and selfie sticks.
Tom Wilson: That's part of it I guess, Chad, but one also sees couples and family groups happily engaged in it
These selfie sticks seem to be the in thing these days, we were at Chatsworth last Friday and loads of people were using them.
Tom Wilson: You can't move for them in some tourist destinations, Brian

In such a gorgeous looking place I think she can be excused this once, Tom.
Tom Wilson: Indeed, who wouldn't want to record it?
Forty years from now, she will have the file to bring back memories of the day she and her dog were at Tara
Tom Wilson: And probably have happy memories!
A beautiful backdrop...
Tom Wilson: It's a lovely area, Larry..
Oh dear is it one of those selfie things, I thought at first it was a toasting fork, just the job for sorting out the poodle.
Tom Wilson: You unfeeling beast, you smile

I saw lots of those silly selfie sticks in Venice, in museums they are now forbidden, but here they don't disturb, and the picture with dog is worth to be taken. I like the hedged English landscape - or are we in Sweden again?
I just hate those things - what a self obsessed world these people live in!
