I think most places have got hairdressers with amusing names, even in the little town where I live we have some.
Tom Wilson: It seems to be common everywhere with hairdressers - I've no idea why they in particular should choose such names! There's one near Manchester airport called, appropriately, The Hair Port smile

They do the punning over here as well. 'Cut above the rest' and names like that.
