Very distinctive building, Tom.
Tom Wilson: Solidly built, too smile
A noble edifice...
Tom Wilson: You'll notice that it flies the Union Jack smile The only building in America to do so smile
I do like that architecture! Nice shot with the red coat!
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Elizabeth.

An informative series too, Tom. I didn't know that
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Lisl - you'll see that it flies the Union Jack smile
I quite like the architecture Tom!
Tom Wilson: Yes, a handsome structure.

A perfectly positioned figure in red too Tom
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Chris.
You'd never know this wasn't in Europe, Tom!
Tom Wilson: Indeed! It even flies the Union Jack - a bit of America that is forever England smile

Magnifique manoir !
Tom Wilson: Merci, Martine.
Very European looking building Tom
Tom Wilson: Well, it was built by Englishmen, Bill - and still flies the Union Jack smile

That red coat provides a good highlight, but speaks of old fashion.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Louis - and it was 45 years ago smile

This looks so beautiful, what a great building this is. Love the bare trees, now we see more. We often travel in Autumn... we see more....
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Astrid. This may even have been round about Christmas 1970.
Love the rounded parts of the building.
Tom Wilson: It makes for an interesting structure, doesn't it?
Another very fine building.
Tom Wilson: Some nice old colonial stuff in Williamsburg.
What a pretty place Tom, I would not mind this as my American residence.
Tom Wilson: There are lots of desirable properties in Williamsburg, Chad smile

Looks very European. Interesting to see your comment to Larry; I missed that on the image. Kind of the lady to wear a red coat for the photograph.
Tom Wilson: Built by Englishmen, of course - they were not yet "Americans" smile
it's a magnificent building... the lady in the red cote gives it scale... good scan and the drop shadow framing is good....petersmile
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Peter - a fascinating place to visit - even if it is somewhat artificial.

Beautifully composed and the spot of red sets it off perfectly
