Superbe horloge, j'aime bien la petite cloche.
Tom Wilson: Merci, Martine - oui, c'est une jolie cloche!
Very nice detail, Tom!
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Elizabeth.

When a property has a clock and weather vane like this it speaks volumes for the place
Tom Wilson: Class, eh? In more ways than one smile

A bit like a wrist watch these days, Tom...nice decoration but largely redundant and obsolete functionally.
Tom Wilson: Not for old fogies like myself, Ray smile It's the mobile phone generation that scorns clocks and watches.
And a bell all set to bang out the hour Tom.
Tom Wilson: Indeed - information aurally presented to the servant class smile
Wonderful details Tom!
Tom Wilson: It's a nice feature, isn't it?

Great shot. Would make Ginnie go double dilly, for the clock and the vane.
Tom Wilson: Haven't heard from Ginnie - perhaps she's still in Malta.
Was the time correct?
Tom Wilson: Spot on, Mary - I suspect recently renewed.

Very smart indeed, Tom
Tom Wilson: No schmutter for the Lichfields smile
A fine clock tower, Tom, well seen.
Tom Wilson: Nice one, isn't it?
A fine timepiece Tom
Tom Wilson: Looks pretty new to me, too, Bill.
Well done Tom, I never thought about taking the clock on its own.
