You have even made the blacktop look attractive, Tom.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Ray.
Nice panorama of this place, Tom. It looks very pleasant.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Frank - this part of the city is very pleasant; the city centre along the road to the right, about a couple of kms away is rather more hectic smile
A beautiful seaside!
Tom Wilson: A very pleasant spot, Elizabeth - and accessible by overnight ferry from Plymouth smile

And such a quiet beach?
Tom Wilson: I suspect that this resort is mainly used by the Spaniards and this was before the main holiday season. It probably fills up from mid July onwards.

And very nice it looks too. Nice beach, no crowds, little traffic..
Tom Wilson: In fairly early June it was very pleasant - probably fills up as the season rolls on. The overnight ferry from Plymouth makes it a very nice trip.
I looked up Santander and found a bank. Is this is the UK or Spain?
Tom Wilson: This is in Spain, Mary - however, Santander is also a Spanish bank with a UK subsidiary - this is a useful site:
That building on the right hand edge is quite splendid.
Tom Wilson: Indeed it is - another hotel.
I think I prefer the place to the bank
Tom Wilson: smile - I'd agree with you there, Bill!

Funnily enough, I've just come to this after fiddling around with a couple of quid I have in a Santander account. Looks a nice place with plenty of space on the beach.
Tom Wilson: We were just there overnight before the ferry back home, but I certainly wouldn't mind a longer stay!
