This works, Tom.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Ray.
i like your treatment here, Tom - very effective.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Ayush
Surely able to deter any drunk drivers, Tom?
Tom Wilson: Either that, or send them off to get drunk smile

This is good, helped by the sepia. It has a feel of real spookiness about it
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Chris - probably the deserted street has something to do with the spookiness.
If this was hundreds of times larger Tom, it might look like some kind of fortified gun emplacement.
Tom Wilson: Could be something of the kind - actually, I'm not quite sure what it was intended to be!
Like Chris, I felt spookiness.
Tom Wilson: It's the deserted street that does it, I think smile
Very unusual, shame you don't know what it is for.
Tom Wilson: It was just an art work, Brian - and I couldn't find any information about it.
Is this some sort of drinking fountain Tom?
Tom Wilson: Nope - just an art work - I've no idea who it is by - couldn't find any information nearby - or since!
It looks lonely...
Tom Wilson: He, he - it does rather!

It looks a bit exotic like a stupa - a very fine night image, I love the treatment.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Philine - it was an odd kind of object - it looked a bit like a drinking fountain, but had no practical purpose whatsoever smile

I thought the same as Bill, a fountain... and that is the beautify of art, you can make what ever you want and say it is art and people will will put it on a square and make roads around it.
Love the treatment.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Astrid - I too, thought it was a fountain when I first saw it! Part of the city centre is a sculpture park and there are bits and pieces all over the place.
I like this sepia colors and the beautiful light of the night
