A very ornate building Tom.
Tom Wilson: It certainly is! I suppose they must be a little concerned about that tilt at the top!

J'aime beaucoup le haut du clocher, on dirait de la dentelle.
Tom Wilson: C'est vrai, Martine!
There's a certain elegance to this building. I like the B&W processing for this!
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Elizabeth.

A church with seemingly a crown Tom
Tom Wilson: Indeed - I've no idea what the function is of that horizontal bar at the top!

The churches in Holland are so elegant Tom, and they play their bells as if they were music boxes.
Tom Wilson: Yes, indeed, carillon style, rather than the English tradition of bell ringing.

It is a fine shot of an impressive place, Tom.

It seems to be the king of spires.
Tom Wilson: I've certainly never seen anything quite so ornate before.
What a maqgnificent spire, so different to ours over here.
Tom Wilson: Much more ornate.

What an intricate structure.
Tom Wilson: It certainly is - and seems to be tilting at the top.

Very impressive. I specially like how to goes up in tiers. The horizontal pole thing (a technical term wink ) looks like it should not really be there. Does it point at anything in particular? ("The nearest loo is in this direction...")
Tom Wilson: Beat me why it is there, Alan. I haven't seen any explanation.
Oh, yes, Tom. A great landmark.
Tom Wilson: It is indeed, Ginnie.
That tower is a bit fancy Tom
Tom Wilson: Masterly British understatement there, Bill smile
