The Cloth Hall sits in the middle of the main square of the old town of Krakow - it gets its name from originally being used for the trade in textiles, but now the booths inside are used in the tourist trade - amber and other jewellery, for example. The Hall dates from the 15th century, when traders came from as far away as the middle east, but the present building dates from the restoration in the 19th century.
