The expressions are brilliant Tom, they represent a lot of old persons' thoughts & attitudes

very nice painting, Tom. i note that two of the gents are looking off frame.

Going by this the home had standard dress for thsoe living there, apart from that one guy.
Tom Wilson: These were the guys who managed the place, not the residents - I don't think Hals painted the residents, or at least I didn't see one.
