Crete-Eleutherna archaeological museum

Eleutherna is a city with evidence of occupation since the Stone Age, coming to its peak during the Minoan period, but continuing to be occupied into the 14th century - although severely damaged by the earthquake of

365 AD, which also destroyed Knosses.

You can read about the museum here: https://bit.ly/1QnMRZl The site itself is not yet open to visitors and photography was not allowed in the museum.

It looks very stark, Tom.
Tom Wilson: Very functional - excellent interior.
Un bâtiment très austère.
Tom Wilson: Oui, très austère.
Unusual exterior!
Tom Wilson: But an excellent building for displaying the finds.

I like your point of view, Tom. Looks very modern, which I like.
Tom Wilson: Yes, it's a fine modern building.

I can understand why photography is not allowed in museums, but sometimes you really want to capture something.
Tom Wilson: Yes, it's a bit of a nuisance.
A quite boring building to house such information.
Tom Wilson: But an excellent interior for displaying the finds.
