I suppose this is a semi primitive flower motif Tom. It looks very nice
Tom Wilson: I suspect it is based on the pineapple, which was introduced into England in the 16th century.
I like it when old wall coverings are recreated
Tom Wilson: This is a particularly fine one, I think.
I've seen this sort of thing in old houses before.
