Cliff Climbers

Cliff-climbing sheep and lamb on the Great Orme, Llandudno.  I couldn't believe what I was seeing!  The lamb looked to be in severe danger of falling into the sea!

It would have been logical to follow my pics of Harlech with the visit to Portmeirion, but, as we've been enjoying Brian's excellent images of that place, I thought I'd move on to other places on the N.Wales trip.

Its amazing what places sheep get into, and out of, Tom. Nice photo.
Tom Wilson: I was stunned! Thanks, Frank.
They're so sure footed, aren't they! Great shot!
Tom Wilson: They certainly are. Thanks, Elisabeth.
De vrais acrobates, jolie photo.
Tom Wilson: C'est vrai, Martine - merci

I don't think of Herdwicks as being rockface climbers normally Tom!
Tom Wilson: Is that what they are? Pretty sure footed on these rocks!
I wonder how many fall off?
Tom Wilson: That thought did occur to me!

Clearly no sense of danger.
Tom Wilson: None at all, it would seem!
They have sheep on the sloping cliffs at Cromer now, they keep the grass cropped nice and short. I hope we will see some of your interpretations of Portmeirion at soem time Tom.
Tom Wilson: Oh yes, Portmeirion will feature!

Can one deduct from this, that not a lot of brains are required to do mountaineering?
Tom Wilson: Or that sheep are brainer than we imagine?
Fabulous capture, Tom.

I will never forget seeing mountain goats in British Columbia. I know I was more frightened than I think the goats were.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Mary - oh yes, those goats are amazing!
a wonderful capture of the sheep and her lamb on the cliffs Tom... they are at home there....petersmile
Not the best place to be, sheep are a bit daft
They are amazing climbers, Tom! I like your perspective here smile
