quite a view, Tom. did you ride the tram? i imagine it can be quite an approach to the town then.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Ayush - no, I drove up smile
Jolie ville entourée de montagnes.
Tom Wilson: Merci, Martine.

What a lovely, rocky place!
Tom Wilson: Isn't it just smile
What a place to live!!
Tom Wilson: It must be very pleasant outside the holiday season!
This is one of the nicest views I've seen of this place Tom.

A nice view of the place Tom and its interesting to notice the perilous ride up the mysteriously named Great Orme
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Chris - according to Wikipedia: "English name derives from the Old Norse word for sea serpent"

I think hint that this hill is what helps make Llandudno so special. Seaside towns are often on flat ground.
Tom Wilson: You are right there, Chad - it's a very unusual setting.
It is a long time since I have been here....it looks nicer than I remember it!
Tom Wilson: I was very impressed by Llandudno, Bill - a very pleasant place.

Fortunately one doesn't have to slog up the Orme. You could end up not even tasting the first beer. From this picture, it looks a very agreeable place to live.
Tom Wilson: I'd certainly be happy to re-visit.

What a great view this is, Tom. I looked it up on google maps. What a place to be. Love it.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Astrid - perhaps you can fit it into your next trip smile
What a backdrop for a town! Very nice with the boat.
Tom Wilson: Stunning, isn't it?

Superbe!
Tom Wilson: Merci, Roland!
I've not seen this view before, it shows just how steep an incline the tram has to negotiate.
Tom Wilson: Indeed, Brian - that's quite an incline!
Fantastic shot Tom......you've really shown the town favourably! smile
Tom Wilson: I really liked the place - it has a bit of an old-fashioned air to it.

An impressive view on this beautiful town, but you must be fit to climb up the roads, if you are living in the upper part of Llandudno.
So, I had to Google where this is, Tom...North Wales. Having just recently been in a cable car up Germany's tallest mountain, the Zugspitze, this catches my eye. smile
