This instrument looks capable, Tom.
Tom Wilson: It does indeed, Ray: Rebuilt by Klais of Bonn in 1997, this is the most magnificent of the eight organs which have previously been in the Abbey. The casing on which it sits was designed for a previous organ installed in 1913 by Sir Thomas Jackson. The organ has over 4,000 pipes and can be enjoyed inside (and sometimes outside!) the Abbey every Sunday and at regular recitals.
That thing is just extraordinary isn't it!

Tom Wilson: I didn't, but I can do - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBGZnNE7Da4

It remains a magnificent instrument. I am glad someone decided to design the first one.
Tom Wilson: A splendid example.
She's a beauty, Tom!

There are many more pipes to an organ than people imagine Tom.
Tom Wilson: I count 90 on this one, Chad, but there are, apparently, 4000!!!

Tom Wilson: It certainly is!
I bet that sounds good in full voice.
Tom Wilson: According to the videos on YouTube, it certainly does!

Tom Wilson: More than 4000 pipes should give a big sound!
