I like this shot, Tom.
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Ray - the people were there just at the right time smile
Jolie galerie de portraits.
Tom Wilson: Merci, Martine.
How sweet to see a young girl (?) there, Tom, getting her taste of art.
Tom Wilson: Young boy, actually, Ginnie.

Young and old, Tom. There is so much to see. That floor for instance....and most of the people in the paintings "showing their best side"...
Tom Wilson: Yes, quite a magnificent floor.

A fine place Tom
Tom Wilson: It is indeed, Chris - you must know it well.
The great and the good from days gone by
Tom Wilson: And, probably, the pictures are their only memorial smile

I am attracted to the floor Tom.
Tom Wilson: It's very fine, isn't it?
Good to see the interest the young boy has smile
Tom Wilson: Yes, he was taking things seriously!

When I see a young man with voluntary interest in paintings like these, I remember the Youth Orchestra Festival I once attended in Pecs, Hungary. It is nice to know that there is still so much interest in old arts - the world is not totally lost - yet.
Tom Wilson: True enough, Louis - it's the old, moneyed bastards who are ruining the planet. Like this idiot:
Some fine family portraits there.
Tom Wilson: Yes, indeed, Brian.
good composition Tom... the sky dome sheds a good light on the paintings... the young girl or boy in the coveralls pops right out of picture ....petersmile
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Peter.

Now I have to say that I would put my head around the door, having quick look and then decide I'd head off to the cafe.
Tom Wilson: Oh, it's worth a longer look than that, Alan.
