Lovely blossoms Tom, I miss them in my old garden...
Tom Wilson: I can imagine, Frank - apartment living has its pluses and its negatives.
Que c'est joli !
Tom Wilson: Merci, Martine.

A new cherry tree in our garden has blossomed properly for the first time this year.
Tom Wilson: They certainly put out quite a display!
And to think this happens every year, Tom, but it's as though we're seeing it for the first time!
Tom Wilson: A close-up gives us a different perspective, doesn't it?

That is something else, Tom. We live in an area of many fruittrees and it is a delight to see all blossoms come out.
I love your picture.
Tom Wilson: Yes, I was happy with this one - nice bokeh with the lens.

I always think it a shame when the blossom season is over.
Tom Wilson: Well, it comes round again, Chad - if we are still around to see it smile
The joy of spring summed up
Tom Wilson: With the same 60mm lens you were using, Bill.

To think that each of these, will become a shiny red cherry.
Tom Wilson: Probably not, Louis - it's a decorative flowering cherry and the fruit will be insignificant.
I love the bright sunlight giving us shadows.
Tom Wilson: Yes, it was a lovely day.
Isn't Cherry blossom beautiful.
Tom Wilson: It is indeed, Brian.
Ah, beautiful, Tom! The DOF is great for your picture smile
Tom Wilson: Thanks, Martin - the 60mm macro is a nice lens.
