Chinese exhibition - 1

I was attending a conference in Copenhagen in the late 70s when I heard that exhibits from the "terracotta army" (discovered in 1974) were on display at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, just north of the city.  So, of course, I went along.  I can't find the date of the exhibition since the Louisiana only has a few former exhibitions listed.

Very interesting Tom but not really modern art, quite the opposite..
Tom Wilson: Indeed, Chris! I think it was just the fact that the museum had space - and this was the first exhibition of the finds outside of China.

I saw some examples on display in China quite a few years ago, and was much impressed, Tom.
Tom Wilson: It was an absolutely incredible find.

Isn’t it a great piece of art and the whole find was incredible. One wonders what else might lurk under the ground somewhere in the world.
Tom Wilson: One never knows until one starts to dig!
I recall seeing a program about the Terracotta Army some years ago and it was an amazing discovery
Tom Wilson: It was indeed, Bill
Were some of the soldiers there too?
your timing to photograph this exhibit was a good catch Tom...
