Restaurant view

View from the table at the restaurant of Casa Marino, near Cudillero, en route from Cedeira to Gijon, on the northern coast of Galicia - getting near the end of the trip now!  The food was a good as the view!

Must have been a helluva sandwich, Tom!
Tom Wilson: Whole sea bass, if I remember aright, Ray smile
I'm not sure I'd notice the food if looking out over this scene!
Tom Wilson: Oh, this food you'd certainly take notice of, Elizabeth!

That's breathtaking!
Tom Wilson: Pretty stunning, eh?
You had a wonderful view of the beach and the surf and the mountains that surround it Tom....petersmile
Tom Wilson: And, amazingly, very little in the way of buildings - to get to the beach you had to park about 400 metres away and walk the rest of the way.

Now that must be some place to eat, Tom
Tom Wilson: It was, Lisl - on both counts - and, amazingly, the train from Gijon stops more or less outside the door!
I hate you Tom, for showing us this beauty ... and then you kick us when we are down, with salivating suggestions of good food.
Tom Wilson: Ah! So this is the reward for telling truth to power, eh? smile
Lovely view but you wouldn't get a legendary Droitwich sausage here
Tom Wilson: We must be thankful for small mercies, Bill smile

If the food was as good as the view you were in virtual paradise!
Tom Wilson: Next time, I think we'll stay there!
It might be a problem eating with views like this. Mouths hanging open in awe might draw the eyes of other patrons.
Tom Wilson: Amazingly, there was only one other table occupied at lunch time!

Great food with a great view, sounds like Paradise Tom.
Tom Wilson: Hard to beat, Chad.
It must have been some meal, Tom. smile
Tom Wilson: An excellent place, all round, Frank.
Another fine vista Tom.
Tom Wilson: It even occasionally distracted me from the food, Fred smile
That restaurant certainly is in a prime position. A great dining spot Tom
Tom Wilson: Prime is right, Janet and we were amazed to find that the train from Gijon stops right outside the front door!
A spectacular view served with a great meal; couldn't ask for more. Thankfully, this scene hasn't been spoiled by the erection of multi-storied hotels and condos.
Tom Wilson: I think this may be a protected bit of coastline, Beverly - I certainly hope so!
Then you must have been replete Tom, such a lovely view and good food. BTW I signed up for notifications for that on-line magazine you emailed us about, it looks very good.
Tom Wilson: Indeed, Brian. Yes, f11 looks very good - all of the issues are now on my iPad!
So the food must have been delicious Tom!
Tom Wilson: It was indeed, Richard - in fact I didn't have a poor dish on the whole trip.
