It is a popular refuge, Tom.
Tom Wilson: Yes, a very safe anchorage, I imagine.

That looks like a fun place to be. Little crowded in the harbour. I hope they all are good pilots.
Tom Wilson: A bit of a squeeze to get in and out, I imagine!

This looks well protected, Tom
Tom Wilson: Yes, I don't think they get high seas in any event, because of those islands off-shore, but they're well protected from any storm.
A nice and cosy little port Tom!
Tom Wilson: It is indeed.

Full to capacity too from the look of it
Tom Wilson: I've only been to Pula and Zadar but I understand that it is like this all the way along the coast, with people from Italy mooring their boats in Croatia because it is cheaper! They just get the ferry across when they want to sail.
This is cute in a cute sort of way Tom. Without the wider picture I would say that this possesses cuteness.
Tom Wilson: Cute? An interesting observation, O Master!
I bet there is a waiting list for moorings, it looks pretty crowded, in a cute sort of way.
Tom Wilson: I imagine that's true - they get lots of Italians parking their boats, so I imagine the demand is high.

Looks as though boating is popular here. It is certainly well sheltered.
Tom Wilson: All the way along the coast, Alan - with Italians taking up a lot of the moorings - cheaper than in Italy and accessible by ferry.
This is a part of the world you would really benefit from owning a boat.
Tom Wilson: Oh, indeed it is - much the same for PEI I'd guess smile
Looks like a safe haven Tom, and popular too
Tom Wilson: Lots of folks with boats around!
Looks very well sheltered
Tom Wilson: And the islands off shore probably prevent big seas happening.
the colorful buildings complement the boats...
